1971 f100 360

I have a 71 f100 with a 360. My Speedometer has 2 oil lights, one one lower left and lower right. Does anyone know what each mean? My truck has started to run rough and the lower left oil light is on.

Thanks for your help

The 2nd "oil" light is probably a temp or amp light. Is it full of oil? If it is low on oil it will run rough. If it has quit charging as the battery becomes weaker it could also cause it.

It's full of oil. All of a sudden it started to shake rough and the lower left oil light came on. If that light was not on, I would assume it has a bad fuel pump or carburetor... I just rebuilt it too..

These trucks are 40 yrs old. Could be junk from the tank. Could be the fuel pump. Could be a bad fuel line. Could be an ignition problem. I would start by finding out what the light is for. Ford didn't put 2 oil idiot lights in it.

Somebody with a stock cluster with idiot lights should be able to shed some light. My truck came with 4 gauges.

Thanks. Anyway. I had the engine rebuilt 1 1/2 years ago, the gas tank was taken out and cleaned, new clutch, new radiator, rebuilt carb, new msd Distributor, new coil and wires and new optima battery. I guess the fuel pump and alternator are the last 2 that has not been replaced. The truck was sitting for over 10 years before I started working on it.
