turbocharger and cylinder heads. any preference?
i keep reading the EFI heads have a high swirl effect to them, and higher compression but like to crack at hotter temps.
i am planning on building and turbocharging a couple EFI 300's for my broncos (f150 gets the 351c ) and was just wondering if there would by any recommendations on picking a head.

I would use the non efi head as it flows more and i think will lower the compression. I never got around to putting a turbo on my 300 but from my other turbo experience i feel the long stroke will make it very prone to detonation so start low on the timing, compression, and rich afr to be safe.
There is a guy that turbo charged a stock 300 truck engine in a maverick and it runs tens in the quarter, i think it's on youtube.
