How city folk go huntin...

OK, most of you know that I'm not much of a hunter...I have no problem with hunters or hunting, it just has never been my thing...

Sometimes, however, it is possible to "accidentally" bag yourself a trophy...

Any bird hunters out there?

Too funny there Alan, you are a poet and didn't know it. Since you had him in the tongs, you should of put him on the grill. lol

I myself have not done that, but I have pulled a few birds out of grills.

I don't know how fast that bird was moving, but I was doing nearly 80 miles per hour north bound on 435....Wifey and junior achievement were in the Escape behind me... and told me that they literally got to see the feathers fly...thump...

My buddy went turkey hunting once, his 90 something Ford grill lost to the big tom. It actually stuck in the grill and he at least had fresh turkey breast that night.

The big tom is no acquaintance to "Tom Boner" BTW. lol

Now that's a good one, Rich!

I know a guy that sacrificed his minivan for some venison. Good trade too, he was about to scrap the van anyway.

Nice one Terry! I hit one with the F-250 and it buried itself in the honeycomb of the grill and didn't come out in one piece.

I tagged bambi as few years back on Hwy 13 in my mom's Chrysler minivan (I was coming back from the seeing her in the hospital in Spg) so don't give me any fluff about driving a soccer mom van. lol

Besides gets 26 MPH to a gallon and can haul 7, it needed a hood, passenger fender, grill, head light, front bumper and the worst of it all it busted the radiator cap/fill neck area and had to get roll back ride to the body shop.

That's way I have a bambi killer on my Dodge now.......a long time ago I hit a coyote in my old 98 4x4 1500 Dodge, rolling 80 on I-24 in Kentucky. I had to get a new sport bumper, support and driving light mount pieces. It looked like I hit a cow.....

my g/f hit a cardinal with her grandma's Grand Caravan. To which the 13 year old in the back seat replied "You killed Fredbird!!!" I died laughing when they told me about it. Also of note, I had a hawk bounce off the upper corner of my Expedition windshield a few years back. Guess he shouldn't have taken that last bite!! Also hit a deer's butt with the passenger corner of that same Expy a few years prior. And a raccoon. That thing was bad for killing innocent wildlife!!
