Sorry to bring up old subject - CB Antenna Fender Mounts ??
Where does one find one. I really would like just a good bracket mount but have had 0 luck finding one or getting one fabricated. Its really the only place i want to mount to.
My Stake Mounts have the Popup rope holders so thats out and I dont want to drill in the roof. Thus I'm down to finding the fender brackets.
Frustrating
(Still haven't figured out where to put the radio either. I have the Center Seat no console)

The mount is part of a mirror mount, clamp type.

How big of an antenna are you mounting Ricky?
I have a Diamond SG7900A on a Commet HD lip mount on my hood. It works pretty well. The antenna is 62.5" tall.
Here is the mount I have
There are PL-259 to 3/8"x24 adapters as well. Most CB antennas use the 3/8"x24 style mount.
Heres a quick link to my blog post on the radio install.

I got the 3/4" for NMO but they come in 3/8" and other sizes too.
For an exposed location such as this I would definitely use a truly sealed connector to prevent water ingress to the coax. Or wrap it in that putty stuff.
I decided on the dash top tray for my radio, and used the plug for the non-existent ambient light sensor to route the cabling.
I am still quite pleased with the location, especially due to the nature of CB I'm always fiddling to maintain critical squelch.
Allow me to recycle my photo for the 30th time...

What antenna model/mounting system? I actually found it quite easy to get fender brackets for the new 2011+ hood/fender design, surprisingly enough. These trucks are common enough in fleet duty that every commercial radio shop and CB shack (that I've dealt with) stock both left and right side brackets in large quantities.

Another option is putting a CB antenna on the other side of the truck opposite where the AM/FM antenna is. I have a buddy that did that with a Firestick CB antenna on his ranger, it worked out great.
