Its a Cervinis hood. One thing to keep in mind for the OBS hood is that it will have to use a prop rod to stay open. My SD hood doesn't use a prop rod, it just uses the factory struts.

There's a thread on the org on how to put struts on the obs

Hard knox fab had a brand new hood like this at the ford show a few week ago I think 400 they had it last year too, so you may be able to get it cheaper. They have a FB page. There in Knoxville.TN

I think that sometimes Gabe, but I really like the looks of my truck better with the dually bed on it. I can remedy the problem with some fab work on the trailer, no biggie. I just have to watch it real close for right now while turning and going over hills at the same time LOL!

Todd, you're not making the wife hold that baby in until you get the house done are you!? C'mon man, that's just mean!

Thanks for stopping by Brian. It's good to see you pop in here every once in a while. You too Tim! It takes guts to sell your OBS and still come down here and grovel with us common folk, lol.

For the hoods, I say you just get some stick on scoops from Vatozone and call it a day, lol. Actually I really liked the one I had on my NBS F150. It was a fiberglass cowl induction hood, but it was more like an old school Dodge design than the Mach one scoops on that Cervinis hood. Between the hood, the grill I had and the halo headlights it looked completely different. I had people ask me on numerous occasions what it was. I'll have to see if I can find a picture. Traded that truck straight up for my first diesel. Don't regret it either, though I do miss the comforts of that truck some times.

Morning fellas.

Travis - I can listen to the "sport truck" comment...never considered it that way. When I was at the Bloomsburg and Indianapolis Jamborees, seems all the OBS guys had the standard cowl. Maybe if I paint mine differently. I'm just always looking for a way to stand out a bit when I do stuff.

Nate - my F150 actually has a hood that mimics the profile of the 99-04 Mustang GT hood. I want to get the top half of the scoop for it this winter.

Thanks Nate. It's different from the norm - something I like doing. I just think it will look better with the top half of the scoop on.

I just like the stock hood. To me the only improvement it needs is chrome stack!

Nah, no stacks for me. Not a fan at all. Mine has a hole in the bed for them, but I covered it with a piece of flooring off another truck bed.
