the official OBS diesel off topic thread
Talk about putting the cart before the horse. Lol. My wife's late uncle had a small TT he would take to races. As he became sick, it sat in storage for a few years. We recently found out the he left it to her. It's a couple hours south of me, so I spent some time trying to get eyes on the thing. It was difficult getting info or trying to figure out what kind of shape it was in. I couldn't even get the model number! The one thing I was told was that it needs tires. Found a local shop and ordered a set of tires. I got the keys to it, drove down yesterday, pulled all 4 rims (thanks cordless dewalt impact) and got tires. I'm very pleased with the condition. A little rough around the edges, but all in all a great starter trailer for us. The inside also needs a good clean, but everything so far seems to be in good working order. Now I guess ill need a truck. Lol
Looks like a ton of fun Todd, good going! Yep, tires are always #1.
As far as my OX crapping out on me, my company left so I jumped on it. Fifteen minutes later it was running good. I just pulled the plugs to the valve covers and cleaned them up. All the contacts looked like new so I put some grease on them and put it together. Ran good on the test drive, ya!!
