truth be told Nick, i have not been to Canada since one of my parents cousins passed away back in 1965. he owned a dairy farm and cheese factory outside of Quebec.
I sorry to here that Tom. Both parts. There is some pretty cool things canada has to offer. I've driven across an prefer the coasts. If I do it again I will go through the Northwest Territories and come back through the states. All in time though. I just need to figure out a way for my farm to run itself.
one day i will get back up there.
i figure i should be able to totally retire in about 10 years if i play my cards rite, and then do the traveling i want to do without the hectic pace i have as a truck driver.
I'm counting down the days Tom. 7314 to go lol. Well we'll see. It all depends on how much longer they leave the quota system alone. It'll be longer if the ex it. I know what you mean about the traffic and pressure. I hauled bulk animal feed for 5 years before I started farming and though I miss the driving I won't go back because of the traffic. Hated that part. And I did mostly farm country delivery. It wasn't very often that I would have to go through the cities.
I'm in suburbia but I do want to get back to my roots out in the country some day. They have an issue with the three that I have - especially that OBS firing up at 6:30 every morning lol. 4" exhaust must be a bit loud for them
LOL! Yeah, I have found that some people just don't appreciate that sound like we do!
Both that and the crackle of shorty headers and a Cherry Bomb Extreme on a big V8 gasser either. Can't wait to load the show truck on the trailer at 6 in the morning in a couple weeks...lmao...

Dang! That was harsh...but funny
Some people just sleep way too much, don't you think?
Hah, that's nothing. You should hear him and Tyler go at it!
I guarantee they do. That morning will be a circus - having to get the diesel out, hitch the trailer, then load the show truck...they'll be calling the cops on me!
You should hear some of us in the PA Chapter when we get together in person...you'd think we hate each other's guts but we're brothers to the end...lol.
