I'm #2 I guess. Mostly because when I was graduating highschool (96) I would go to the new car lot and dream. I have always been in love with these... And the price I can afford with a family being I'm just a grease monkey.

X2. I guess I could afford a new truck but I love these and don't want payments

I guess I would be slightly number 2 also. If someone came up to me with a really nice CC OBS and wanted to trade for my SD, I'd do it. These trucks to me are the best looking trucks on the road. Next up would be going way back to the 50s. Lol

I'm definitely a number 2. Maybe a little bit of number 3 also. These trucks came out while I was in High School and I really liked them then. More recently I wanted a diesel for a number of reasons, and needed a crew cab and this generation seemed like the logical choice. I'm definitely glad I ended up with what I did; "just an old work truck", lol. Right, Bill?

Thanks!

On the #1, #2, #3 scale, I'm probably a bit #2 and #3. I just like this body style right behind the late 60's/early 70's versions. Not to mention the price tag - a good diesel in this area that is relatively clean goes for big bucks, but I got this one for a good price and most importantly it's MINE - the bank doesn't have the title for it...I do.

Ehh I think I could classify as all 3 lol. I'd love to have a new 6.7 or even an EcoBoost but I still haven't got over the sticker shock...

#2 because I love these old... BS's? Lol!

And #3 because the only reason I have powerstrokes Is because of the price and their reputation. If a 6.0 were the same price, I'd still take the 7.3

I can't get past the sticker shock on the new ones...way too much money for me man. When a truck is stickered at something just short of the appraised value of my house, something's wrong lol.

I gotta say, those 6.0's when they're built right can throw some serious HP down, but it's the extra up-front cost I couldn't swallow. I gave a LOT of thought to one when I was diesel shopping, but glad I landed with the OBS.

x2.
1) I really would rather have only one OBS and one new 6.7.
2) I was a kid just getting into trucks when the OBS PSDs starting rolling around. I wanted one bad for the next 11 years.
3) I don't care what it is, if it won't get the job done then its got to go!

That point #3 is loaded with so much truth!

Speaking of diesel power, has RRE been published yet?
