Wow you guys really put it into perspective for me lol. Im sure freight charges on that car will be over $1500, so I could charge a hair less than that and still be saving him money while putting a chunk of change in my pocket (barring something major such as tranny failure...). The guys been a driver for UPS for over 20 years, so he makes bank lol

Heck, if I could deliver that car and nothing bad happen, I could make over $500 profit. That ought to be enough to get the dually back on the road lol

Yeah I love ford trucks and AMCs. Just bought a 71 Ambassador. 360 2 barrel. No pics right now, has a Borg Warner M-11B, that won't go into 3rd. Aaron and I were chatting and think it's a vaccuum issue, since it has a modulator. Was going to possibly convert it to a torque flite since I have one sitting around, but sounds like the crank has to be modded to do it. Hopefully this is all it is. At worse, I don't think it would take much to get the BW going.

Yeah JP, what everyone else has said. Don't sell yourself short. Even at making 500 you would still pry be cheaper than a company to move it. And yessss! Do it so we can get your dually going!

And yeah Phil we should plan somthing. We will hopefully before the next rre. That would be awesome!

I wondered what I felt under my tires this morning - foggy here too.

A couple guys asked for pix from Truck Nationals in Carlisle - I'll post those tonight when I get home from work. Hard coming in to work the day after such a good weekend like it was.

Ya, sorry. I forgot some people live where it's foggy. That's all smoke from wildfires. We dont really get fog here.

I was going to say what beautiful scenery, but if that's smoke I'd be worried.
It still is an awesome view you have there.

Yeah I like them because they are unique. And you don't see them every day. My dad has owned several in the past so I get it honestly. Lol. They really aren't bad cars. They are getting harder to find parts for. But if you know where to look, they're still out there.

Glenn, did you ever get your 5er situated with the motor thing?

Man, we sure do, especially in June-July...the awesome marine layer. I don't mind it in the Fall or Winter though. It seems like its supposed to be that way.

Now if we could just talk Clay into an RRW!! I'd be there in a heartbeat. Have RV, will travel!

U Ship and Freight quotes are coming back between $700-$1200. So it gives you an idea of what to charge.

I switched motors from the small slide out to the larger one and vice a versa. (Bill's idea, LOL) They work now, I just think the bigger slide motor is wore out but it still can handle the smaller slide, for now.

Byron wanted to know too!

Glad to hear it Glenn! At least you are functional until you can get a new motor!
