We bought the 2002 TDI bug with 60K on it but will not have it for a few days because they are putting in a new windshield for us. I keep forgetting to take a picture?!?!?! I hate the color but oh well, maybe that's why I haven't taken a picture. For the price of it I can see the savings already in chiropractor bills for my wife's knee and hip, lol.
We had one with an auto. It got the usual pretty good economy. Ours was plauged with issues in the end I got most fixed and dumped it. Just remember you have to have the VIN to get trans fluid and the diff inside that auto usses diff fluid than the trans part.
yea ask me how I know that
OK, thanks Aaron. I'm not familiar with these auto's but I guess I'll learn. I really was surprised at how well it ran and shifted. She loves these bugs but was starting to want a Prius,

Aaron I am not sure the RS model was available in the US. This car is pretty rediculous for 39 mpg. I was very concerned about buying it until I drove it. I have had to the chance to do a few direct comparisons while driving. Very surprising little car.
In Japan they had a Vitz RS model which brings it to a whole different game think Buick Century when it got the make over in '87.
