Tom, 1994 f150 2wd ,5.0,aode, one family owned.
119k.
It rides like a Lincoln.
It was rubber ducks grandpa's truck. When I was down there with Todd we went and hung out with Cody and it was there. I tried to resist it's charms...I was unsuccessful...
Lovely, now I have added to my project list lol.
The Y-pipe on the 302s is garbage, 1-3/4" OD on each headpipe. BBK 5.0 fox shorty headers bolt up easy with tons of room, just make a custom Y-pipe. Big power difference, a HO cam makes a great upgrade for chump cash too.
'94 should have a 4R70W also. Beyond easy to DIY to rebuild.
Did Centurion lengthen the frame or what did they do to make a half ton crew cab? Seems like it would have been easier to order an F250 CCSB and swap the rear axle over and front hubs.

Pretty much my thoughts on it.
The 302 in the trucks does nothing well to me in my 20 years of ownership with one in a bricknose...302/AOD/3.55:1 combo factory. Fuel economy is lame, towing ability is lame, power is lame. I guess it is good for running to Ace and picking stuff up from garage sales. Uncork it as I said and it runs vastly different, plus fuel economy does not suffer at all.
At least the late ones are SEFI factory, have a touch more power, and geared a hair better in the trans.
Still really mind blown by this rig!
Honestly I have had many 4.9s. never impressed me. I'll stick to my 5.0 rootz.
It's a regular cab f150 that they cut the cab back off of and moved er back. Yes the frame is extended..man who ever at centurion did that part....that dude rocked. The frame is tough.
Heck the rear doors are roll down windows lol. Too much work to put power rears lol.
Power stuff...naaaaa it's a dd. I'll mod other stuff. Heck the f3 pn muffler is safe even.

Aaron, be sure you put a link in here for the thread on that truck, if you would. I'd love to see more pictures and details on how they accomplished that conversion. It has never made sense to me why Centurion didn't just buy crew cabs from Ford and fit them to the extended frame instead of hacking up and extending the cabs themselves. Seems like it would have been a lot less work. The truck looks great. That's a very unique ride. Now you make me want a crew cab bronco again..
It appears that winter may be coming to a close here in NE Ohio, and I've been pittling around here with truck stuff. Scrapped a couple out (parted them out) and have been working on my own truck some. Had my glow plugs fail on me, which makes the truck start like crap. Changed those all out last night (new ZD-11's) between batches of maple syrup from our trees. Got to get the truck ready for a spring break camping trip to FL in a couple weeks, so I've got a good bit more to do yet (e-brake cables, oil cooler seals, dipstick adapter repairs, and then polish this turd up some).
And the wife finally moved on from the minivan phase. The 'ol loser limo is sold and gone and we're in the market for an Expedition. I'm looking south (the Carolinas look pretty promising) for a rust free Expedition EL. I have a couple promising leads and it looks like I may be making a road trip some time next week to go shopping. No rest for the weary, I guess.

Me either for something that I want to keep for a long time. Cheap DD beaters are one thing, but for something I plan to keep, It's worth the time, trouble and expense to bring something up from down south.
