Hey guys!

I haven't been on myself for at least a few weeks. Glad to see everyone pops in once in awhile to check in.

I haven't changed any. Still rolling through the motions. Work work work. Its about to hit our busy time. I got myself a new project in the form of a Fox Body. I may have to show it off if it gets done lol.

Glad to hear Bill! Hopefully everything works out better for you. I know you hated your last job so I can see why you opted for coal again lol. It's been awhile since I've saw ya. About time for Aaron and/or Thomas and/or me to make a visit Lol!

Glad your going to get back to 'normal' Bill!! I know that job and driving was not to your liking!

????

Obama campaigned on shutting down the coal industry. This isn't one side stating what they percieve as fact about the other side. It came straight from the horses mouth.

How coal country voted for him anyway is beyond me, but that part stretches into opinion (not that they actually voted for him ((fact)), but why?

i don't think coal country folks had any part of him getting in Chris.
their opinion was overruled by the majority as so often happens when the "righteous few" decide what the "unedicated masses" need.

If you look at the top 20 coal producing states Tom, a surprising number voted blue in 2008.

This leaves one thing... Wiring. I am considering running two glow plug relays to isolate each bank for further testing. Bad idea? I can use a load reduction relay from the pcm signal to fire both GP relays..

I Plan on making new battery cables with some 00 welding cable I have kicking around. I like to use solder in lugs. The factory cable on the passenger side has two cables out of it. I haven't had much luck finding one locally. Is there a disadvantage to using a post type terminal adapter for this connection?

I'll dig up my big fix thread when I get a chance.

I used a jumper cable to bypass the relay and it didn't change much. I will ojm these plugs and plan to pull the covers after I do one other repair. I have ordered Dorman exhaust manifolds.

@Buddy Barnes the starter will be replaced with a gear reduction unit I just picked up.

New exhaust mani folds in hand. I would like to check them for flat before installing. How do I do that?

I have a cast table saw extension that I consider flat and the rock slightly on that.

She wanted a toaster oven. I bought one and used it to heat parts for the rear end rebuild.

The manifolds have about .016 of wiggle. They are new out of the box so I was hoping for true. Is that too much to ask of a manufacturer?

With that much variation, I would either get them milled flat or run a gasket. I wouldn't feel too comfortable bolting them up dry like they sit, but that's just me.

I agree with Nate. I would have them milled.
