Chillinjc,

If you're having problems with your horn and airbag, you more than likely have a bad clock spring. Do you have cruise control and is it working? Cruise control also goes through the clock spring.

Thanks everyone, especially Ron and Mario. I coulnd't get my hands on NTE8167, so I went for the NTE8149 which is rated at 144 degrees C. I figure the worst that could happen is for this fuse to blow early, better safe than sorry. I got that at Radio Shack for $1.49. Soldered the thing in last night and it seems to work great so far. The airbag light went on for 5 seconds and then disappeared for good.

Thanks again guys, you are a great group of people.

Regards

Does anyone know the details on the resistor that rests below the thermal fuse? Mine was burned beyond recognition.

Thanks,
