"HEPL"i need a ball joint part number

i have a 96 ford f250 4x4 7.3 that i started changing ball joints on today. i've been to NAPA, advanced and autozone and can not find upper ball joints, the ball joints in mine have no splinds, all the ones i can find so far do. can anyone please help me with a part number or tell me where to get the ones i need.

IIRC the lower ball joints are tied to the weight rating of the front end. Check the label on the driver door for the rated capacity. Of the top of my head I could be incorrect.

Motorcraft shows Part Number: 3V049 (MCS-10339) for the upper.
Part Description: 4X4 (Front)

Not sure if this pic is accurate.

^^x2^^ There's a 3850 lb and a 4600 lb axle. It says it right there on the door sticker which you have.

Ford part number seems to be F6TZ3V049AA. MOOG-K80026.

Maybe some were redesigned with splines. Or improved!

Your best bet is Motorcraft, Spicer, Moog, or XRF. That is unless you want to do them again relatively soon.

Federal Mogul - Moog Upper & Lower Ball Joints #K80026/#K8435
Federal Mogul - Moog Inner Tie Rods

don't waste your time on the job by putting in something found at autozone.buy something with a good rep,or you'll be back in there in short order.junk parts, tires, fuel economy, alignments after the job,and your time doing it all costs $.try and make it count the first time saves big $.
