can anyone recomend a complet wireing harness

so I'm looking to rewire my whole truck because it has more spices and random wires from other owners. I just dropped in a Fe motor with a one wire alternator and mechanical oil gauge and fuel pump. can anyone recommend a complete harness or their experiences or advise would be great thanks!

I highly recommend either the 12 or 21 circuit kit from EZwiring. They are high quality harnesses at a price that is about 1/2 what the "big" advertisers charge for their very similar products. The 12 circuit is good for a vehicle that is not going to have a lot of electrical or electronic accessories added to it as it will cover all the basic functions. The 21 will handle just about any extra whistles and bells you might want to add. They also sell OEM quality switches at excellent prices that can be plugged right in. If you do a search on here on wiring harnesses you'll find everyone who has used their product was very pleased with it (possibly with the exception of one or two who miss wired their truck by mixing negative and positive ground wiring diagrams, an error that would have fried any kit. Remove ALL the old wiring and follow the diagram for a 56 or newer 12V neg ground if your truck is a pre 56. Don't try to use any of the old 6V pos ground relays, circuit breakers etc.) . Don't worry about using the 21 circuit kit if you plan on using a lot of "extras" down the road and having a lot of unused wires hanging around. Any that you don't need right away can be removed undamaged from the fuse block with nothing more than a paper clip and put away for safe keeping until if/when needed down the road.

Im sure all the kits work well. I have personally installed 2 of the easy wire kits and have nothing but good things to say about the kit.

I have just completed replacing all my wiring with the Speedway harness. I also went to 12 volt negative ground with a GM 3 wire alternator at the same time. So far so good.

The harness came with a new headlight switch, high beam dimmer switch, alot of crimp connectors etc. I also purchased a headlight relay kit, a new key switch, etc etc.

The more I use the better I'll feel.

I have used Ron Francis and Painless. I liked the Ron Francis kit the best. It's pricey but very good. For your application I think a 12 circuit harness would be all that you need.

I have used the Painless harnesses and have had no issues what so ever in the pass.

That being said, for my current 55 project I bought the Speedway harness. The reviews were very high and it came with a lot of the switches for a great price too.
