Monster 8 piston brake calipers
#76
Ok. Here goes. Well, it now has been just over 2 years now and I am still on the same set of pads and rotors. They are a tad less shiney now but stop just as the day I put them on. I just had the wheels off last week while I was fitting a new set of wheels. I cleaned the calipers and bolted on my 2" wheel spacers from Fred. As for the brake pads, they are about 50% still. Here are a couple pics from today and last week.

Hey Tom, thanks. It just turned 190,000 miles. As soon as I can find a good tire shop, the new wheels are goin on. The turn signal lenses are painted over with VHT Niteshade tint. Yup, still running the range rover headlights. No troubles in several years. As for the gear swap, still so jealous of you for your gears. Probably by the time you wanna get rid of yours, I'll come to your house and we can swap axles.

Ugh, unfortunately, I can't remember. It's been several years. I think they are from a company called Billet Specialties. They were about $140. They are totally functional and are direct boltin to the factory hooks. And look absolutely brand new after a polish. On vacation now but when I get home next week, I'll pull out my X files, and look it up....

Did a quick google search. I found these made by Pro-One. They seem to be one of the only ones that have an angle to them. I'm on my cell. I think the website was Auto Body Kits Car Parts Accessories Spoilers and Police Headlights

Ha. I use mine to smash bugs as I'm driving down the highway..
It isn't really a lot of money considering how much most of us spend on other useless stuff we get for our trucks. Plus, they are an exact match for my fuel door and door handles. I just don't like the cheapo crap stickon junk.
But, it's just like any of the polished parts, you scratch em, get em dirty, and whatever, you polish em up and they look brand new.
Thanks Bion for posting the pic.
