Looking at buying 2008 XLT

Hi Guys, I'm looking at trading in my '98 XLT on an '08 XLT. It has 45K on it and had the tow package. I'm curious if there is anythign I should watch out for or if there are any TSBs that I should insist they do before purchase. Also the tailgate paint is bubbling in certain spots, the sales guys says they all do it. My '98 has no rust on the gate so this seems strange. Any insight anyone can provide would be great, I have no experience with the third generation Expy's. Thanks in advance.

We have an 08 XLT. Just about 100,000 miles now. Have done lower ball joints, idler pulley bearings (and new belt while it was off), rear brake pads, front axle seal, drivers door regulator, tires, a wheel alignment, and oil changes. Tailgate is bubbling as almost every one I've seen is. All things considered, love this truck.
