I stripped mine with some aircraft aluminum stripper then polished the wheel and corrosion with steel wool with aluminum polish and finally repainted the slots and clear coated the entire wheel. Did that 3 years ago. So far so good.

Teamlx I am also plagued with these rims having wheel weight corrosion, Do you have pics of your redone rims?
