Thanks for the reply Rodney. Is that plate 1/4" steel or heavier steel. I'll still need the drop down pitman arm, not going to try to make that.

Thanks bill. I made it in two separate pieces and lapped the joint when I welded it for strength and so I could position it just where I wanted it then clamp it and unbolt it then weld the crap out of it. Came out nice. Really wanted to take the front shackles out and make rear shackles but it is just going to raise it more. If I get any more wobble i'm going to take a torch to those crappy front shackles and make a nice solid mount out of angle iron or something. Also I ordered a 4" drop down pitman arm today. Hopefully that should take care of it. oh and I need shocks.

Maybe new spring and shackle bushings will help. I picked up some for my front springs, but I'm putting off changing for a while. Just until I figure out for sure if or when I'm gonna do the D60 swap or at least change front springs.

My springs are new so the bushings are new there. I don't know this for sure but you may be able to have them re-arched and press in new bushings at the same time. I've never owned a 4x4 with an independent front end. My f350 had tapered springs so the spring place told me they could not be re-arched. maybe I should have asked around a little more.

I'm not sure about the re-arching, I've never had any done. I guess the spring place would know better than anybody.

Still waiting for my pitman arm. I might lower my shock bracket so I can order a shock replacement that is made for a stock truck since I don't plan on doing much off-roading with this truck. Should not be to difficult. Any suggestions?

What's the price difference on the longer shocks and stock ones ?

Because of the way the bracket angles out from the frame there's not a lot of room to relocate it. It might be easier to just raise the lower mount.
