Gear Ratio / Tire Size / RPM Table

Hey all,

Anyone have a link to the Gear Ratio / Tire Size / RPM table I've seen around? I've seen it before Oreo posted it I think?

I've searched and can't find it again... figured this way it'll be searchable by the post name from now on.

I went from 3.55 to 4.10 in my driveline rebuild and 2-3" taller suspension and I'm trying to pick new tire sizes, and want to know how it's gonna affect my speed / RPM. I like the response now with 3.55 and stock 235/85, so with 4.10 how much bigger should I go etc...

35's should put ya back to where ya were, aka 315/75/16, if thats too big there is also the common 285/75/16 (33's) and last but not least if you can find em, theyll be more but, the 305/75/16 (34's) Metric measured tires always seem to be on the smaller side, and to be dead on you should look at the specific tire for its revs per mile.

Thanks alot guys. That "Tire Size" calculator on 4Lo was perfect. I agree with your hairy, I think I'll end up with 35"; I'd rather find 34" but I'll have to see what I can get around here.

Anyone have any tips on rim size? Is there a better size for tire availibility? This is the first time I go looking for new tires (as may be obvious)
