Don't be scared it can be done, nothing is impossible. If you have wiring you want to transfer, play it safe and buy some of the plastic wire sheath and some zip ties in case any of the existing comes off or in case clips break. Plan it well and go for it.

Pull it out and look around it, there will be a grove, slide a pick or knife blade into the slot at the front (close to the dash) then slide it to the rear and the **** will slide off.

Exactly my point. Not saying the cab cant be swapped, but it is going to take more than a weekend for a NOVIS 1st timer.

I have swapped at least 15 cabs and I would be hard pressed to do it with air tools and a tractor to pic/set a cab

That's why I said give yourself plenty of time. There's lots of otherwise simple jobs that have taken me a lot longer than I had planned because of running in to other snags. But she won't know till she try's and the only reason she can't say how long it will take is because she hasn't done it yet and I bet she ain't never not made it yet. Its parts swapping so all she really needs is time, its not like its a sight unseen job. This is America and we can do anything! So how about some encouragement! Lets get-r-done, if I was in Ohio, I'd gladly help.

Agreed, 1 weekend well possible, isn't probable.

If everything goes good, it is possable. I can remove all but the cab by my self in a day. Took a few more days getting the man power to move the cab! I also took the bed off so we did not have to huff it higher than needed.

On my friends cheby cab swap the bed was left on and that took more effort...... thats when some 10' 4x4 posts cam in to play to hold up the cab and sit it on the bed. He did it in a weekend.

No, 4x2 uses 2.5" wide springs while 4x4 uses 3" wide, on the F150s, F250 and up use 3" on pickups 2 or 4.
