Crank but no start, 2001 F250 7.3 PSD

i have a 2001 f250 7.3L PSD. it turns over but will not run. replaced the CPS , starter and the #30 fuse. IPR is new and all injectors are new, new gaskets and harness and new glow plugs new batteries. still just cranks and cranks. no oil pressure build up and no tach movement, oil level is good in HPOP. What could it be?

any help would be fantastic. thanks

Are you seeing a WTS (Wait to Start) light when you turn the key on? If you are not seeing that light, unplug the fuel bowl heater and replace fuse #30 again. Heater plug is on the lower drivers side of fuel bowl.

Check the connection at the CPS to make sure that it is good. where did you get your new CPS? a Chain store or Ford?

What is your batt voltage at? You need 10.5v min to start.

Welcome to FTE. Let's back up to the beginning. The truck used to run and then what happened? Did it die while driving down the road, or did it not restart after you changed some parts? You mentioned it's not building any oil pressure. Are you referring to low pressure or high pressure oil? What are you using to monitor oil pressure?

Chris is right. Start over. And if the #30 fuse was blown, the fuel bowl heater has to remain unplugged to work.

We had it at ford for repair. i was told there was some blow-by on #3 cylinder.we drove the truck home ran a bit rough below 50mph but ran none the less. and the the mechanic at ford said pull the covers off pull the glow plugs and spray some Marvles mystrey oil in all cylinders for about a week. i did that. made sure all my connections were good when i put the covers back on, cleared the cylinders before re-inserting the plugs. after it was all put together, turned it over. just spun..the starter was bad there got a new one, got new batteries, didn think to have em tested after bought, kinda rushed to get this thing running. kept batteries on charger all times while cranking, still nothing, replaced the CPS today, and i got it from autozone, because its close to home. when i crank it over, i dont see the Tach move nor the Oil gauge and im sure that shud move when u crank it. but still i get nothing and it just cranks over. and im not 100% positive it no pressure, dont have the tools to test nor the money, just cranks over. and the #30 fuse wasnt blown i did mean to put replaced, i checked it to make sure it wasnt.

I would get a CPS from Ford and put that in then try again. The auto stores CPS tend to garbage and you could have gotten a bad one.

I don't know how they can say theres blow by on #3. Did they do a compression test?
After truning over for a while you should have oil pressure on the lpop gauge inside. DId you check HPOP to see if it is full? Top it off and see if it fires then dies.

yes i checked the HPOP and was full. and when it was at ford yes the did the comp test, it would have cost us 3k more for them to fix it, said it was mearly a over tight ring just needed to be lossened. i can tell its blow by, while it was running i took the oil cap off want watched all the smoke steam train out of the pipe.

Did you put the cap on upside down to ck yourself for blow by? If the cap just viberates off then your good but if the cap blows off then thats bad.

Well it sounds like you have 2 diff problems so lets stick with the no start first. I would get a Ford CPS first and go from there. I dont have a pic of it on my work computer but the part # is DU-87, thats the Iinternational #.
