C6 fluid
I have a rebuilt C6 and was wondering what you all recommend for fluid. Just regular old type F or fancy synthetic stuff.

If newly rebuilt, you would need either Dexron 3/Mercron fluid or fully synthetic such as Mobil1 ATF.
Type F was for the old asbestos clutches.
Hopefully other opinions will follow.

It depends what clutch and band material is in the trans. Most likely it has modern materials, so any MERCON or MERCON V fluid will work. You can use either conventional or synthetic.
