I am putting for sale my 1978 f150 4x4.You will not find a better hunting truck or project ( this is not a rusted out piece of junk) Here's the run down on the truck I bought the truck 2 years ago as a restore project body is in good shape not rusted out anywhere exept inside the bed up next to the cab. Paint is pretty good has a couple small spots of surface rust but over all nice truck The truck has a Dana 44 front with a 9" rear NP 205 transfercase granny low 4 speed new 351m I have put a 6" lift on the truck with new mastercraft 35-12.50-15 tires and eagle alloy 589 wheels. It has a warn winch bumper and a warn 8274 8000# winch with it was well I had 7 degree radius arm bushings installed when I installed the lift along with all the bushings and joints in the front end. I have replaced EVERYTHING in the front and rear ends from" spider gears to brakes ,ball joints, tie rod ends, track bar bushings" when i say i replaced everything i mean everything the motor is a mastercraft rebuild that has roughly 30,000 miles on it I have all the paper work on it as well. The motor has a new starter, new motorcraft 2 barrel carb. I have keep the maintenance up on the truck very well I used the truck to hunt out of and I didn't want to be broke down during hunting season .I have a step side bed that I will let go with it if I get my asking price. the only reason I am selling truck I just bought a f250 because I needed more hauling capability and I could use the money for other things. Let's get this out of the way I will budge a little on price but don't waste my time and your with some off the wall low ball offer. I have alot of money in the truck. I'm not looking to get my money back out of the truck but I would like to get some of it back. It's just that I've been looking for a short bed to swap my 460 into and no luck as of yet your truck had great potential but thanks anyway

 

It's for sale for sure make me a reasonable offer pull the 351 and sell it and Install your 460.

 

You know i wish i could make you a reasonable offer but i really only have 1500 or less to buy a body and i know you'd want at least 3500 for your truck it is a really nice truck.

 

Thanks yeah id like to get 3500 out of I've put alot of money in it that I'll never get out of it but it is a pretty good ol truck to have sitting around I just wish I'd have put all that money in the 68 f100 ranger I have instead
