Has anyone else experienced this? Not every time but sometimes after coming to a complete stop at a stop sign or light, the engine will rev slightly and momentarily causing the vehicle to lurch forward a few feet even though my foot is still firmly applied to the brake. I've had it in to the dealer but they haven't been able to reproduce the occurance and there are no codes. Any thoughts or suggestions?

 

Yes, I have this problem.. As well as many others, at first I thought I was partially hitting the gas due to my big feet. Realized it was just the truck. Complaining about issues like this to the dealer falls on deaf ears. My rpms surge all the time I also notice when in drive thrus or gas line ups the truck idles erratically and shakes itsself back and forth.. Dealer says there is nothing wrong.

 

Is it the computer kicking the idle up to compensate for the a/c compressor engaging? Try turning the hvac off an see if it still does it.

 

I have same thing...

I guess this due to transsmision down shifting from 2-1 or 4-3.

I have notice than at 10 km/hr and 40 km/hr.

at this moment, my dealer did not solve this problem, beacuse no CODE.

I hope FORD make TSB for this issue.

Please leave room in front of you while driving...so not to rear end someone.

 

Many/most transmission problems will not throw a code until a hard failure happens. Look for a TSB on the lurching. Should be able to find one and show them .
