1997 dually rear disc brakes

in looking at rear disc brake options, i have read a lot of posts that work on options for guys with srw but nothing for us with dually's, one guy posted that he was using parts from a 99 E series because the wheel patterns are the same as our older trucks, one guy with a dually asked about using a 99 dually disc rear for parts, so i looked up some info and wanted to pass it on and ask some questions: first the link -
http://www.originalwheels.com/ford-wheels/vanse350rims-1999.php

this company lists the 1999 -2010 dually wheel for the E series as 8 x 6.5 bolt pattern, so I went and looked at a Uhaul truck with dual rear wheel and disc brakes, i did not have a tape to do any measurements i will get that soon to see if guys with dually rear ends can just do a axle swap to get the disc brakes from a Uhaul type truck, now for the question, does anyone know of info on the web where we can get spring perch spacing info for the Uhaul type trucks?

Any super duty( F450) from 89-97 will have disc brakes. Take the entire axle.

The F-Superduty rear axle does indeed have discs, but no provision for a park brake. Those trucks have a driveline park brake on the back of the trans. It's also a Dana 80 10-lug axle.

so back to the question of whether or not we can use the newer rear ends with disc brakes on our older trucks, i gather from reading so far that we have dana 70 rear ends under our duallys and the newer trucks have a 10.25 rear end, so my question is: physically are they the same spring spacing so a simple swap could be made with out any changes other than dropping a axle and bolting in the other axle?

My truck has a 10.25, but a newer 99-04 bolts in after u drill for a larger shackle bolt. And u can get drilled an slotted rotors if u pull heavy loads

If you've got an F350 you have a Sterling 10.25. The 99-04 uses a Sterling 10.50. Is yours a pickup or cab and chassis? The axle widths are different and a cab/chassis axle won't fit under a pickup.
