dang spring are way over priced... but got the rear springs today. went with skyjacker 93 dodge 2500 6" springs... another 500.00 bucks yay. got all the old stuff off tonight and there gonna work great. ordered some axle perches that are adjustable. so i can move the axle back for the inch im gonna loose. but everything will bolt right up to the original hangers and hardware. and i went with the six inch spring so i wont have to flip the hangers. ill probably end up running a small 2" block still but thats ok.

Your moving along nicely your farther then I am is that the stock spring mounts and position? The dodge leafs for a 93 fit right in and have the proper shackle angle? I got my rear suspension almost done got it all mounted up and figured I'd try some of the stock rear leaf mount holes for my SD hangers lowered the truck down and need to move the rear hangers back another 2" or so to get the right shackle angle got some pics of it ill put up then atleast she's a roller again

Right on. Good deal. I was wonderin where ya been. I was watchin for an update on ur springs. Get that sucker done. Ya I'm right there with ya. She's rolling again. I just tached my axle perches on. I set the pinion angle at 10. I figured that was plenty safe. And yes I ended up goin with the 92 93 dodge springs. Fliped them around and they bolted right up. I snaghed some ajustable axle perches from ballastic fab .com so I can move the axle forward one inch. When its compressed it sits perfect. Stock placement on the hangers. I think with all the weight on them there gonna be perfect.

The dodge springs just needed flipped so the center pin would be in the stock place so your using the rear of the leaf as the front is this right from what your saying? Ballistic does sell some great parts I got some from them for my truck are the adjustable perches the ones that have 3 holes in them for different positions? If so I have them to I got some of there rear Dana 60 disc conversion caliper brackets but I have no use for them as I'm going with a Dana 80 or sterling 10.25 whichever I find first

I hope by the end of the week or weekend to have the hangers relocated its been raining here for the past couple days and only suppose to keep raining almost all week ugh back to the rain delays on the crew I had either 1/4" or 3/8" plate in mind when doing my frame and motor mounts

Man how come so thick. I was gonna do 1/4 but then i was kinda leanin twards 3/16 but I can for sure see 1/4 or thicker where u do mounts or ps box. Is there a reason ur goin so thick everywhere. I'm only asking to make sure I'm not missing something.

No reason for going so thick except the added strength I know I won't be able to keep my foot off the gas and my truck will be beat on here and there I was thinking 1/4" for the mounts and 1/2" for the plate when I mount my 79 power steering box to the frame
