Ford already makes this engine, it appears the engineering for implementation in F150 and Expedition has been done. Ford would just rather you buy an EcoBoost instead.

where there is a will there is a way. I know a guy near me who took a old fetolays truck as a donor, stuck it's 4 ba cummins with a 700r 4 auto trans into a 1928 model a pick up and still had the hoods to close.
if that could be done why not into a f150 that has a bigger engine bay to work with .
