will 15" wheels fit our trucks?

hey fellas, I'm starting to look for new wheels and tires now so that i don't have to deal with finding 16.5's when the time comes again... that being said, will a 15" wheel fit our trucks or are the brakes too big? I hope they'll fit, cause the tires i want are $60 cheaper per tire for 15's than 17's, and they don't make 16's in the size i want...

You'll need 16" and bigger. The 15" would probably fit the back but the front caliper would hit the rim

Dang... well, guess I'll have to just bite the bullet and cough up the dough for 17's...

You have to conside the price of 18" tires vs. 16 or 17. Often big difference in the price of the tire that could easily eat up the price of the wheel you saved...every 35000 miles or so.

They'll fit. It just depends on how much grinding you want to do on the calipers. The rear won't take any work though.

Yep, which brings me to the next point I was about to make.....

If you want 15" 8x6.5 wheels, you'll be looking at white spokes or black holes.

What size are you looking for that is available in 15" and 17", but not 16"?

I really want Pro Comp Mud Terrains in 35x12.50 for 16's they have the goofy 315/75r16 size, and I can't stand that style of sizing... not to mention there's only a $10 difference between the 16 and 17" tires...

Oh dear Lord......

You can't stand a "style" of sizing that equates directly to the flotation size you want?

Yup! Hey, if it's my truck I should like everything about it right? Especially if the price is pretty much the same. I know it's the same size, but I don't care for it. Just like some people like stacks and some don't. Some like chrome, some like black. Some like their tire size in plain english, some like equations.
