PB did a major upgrade and I ended up losing a few complete albums.
Have not had the time to click on each post and replace pictures.
I may do that a bit at a time if enough interest.

Shop Space
Not sure if I have posted before but my workspace was very limited, maybe a shop size for working on motorcycles or VW beetles. Ok for daily type veh maintenance but for tearing more than one veh apart at a time it was just not enough room.
A year ago I decided to sell off my '65 F250 and some other toys so I could do a addition on shop to make room for my EcoBoost and 427 truck projects.
Pretty much makes me sick as have had to push the 427 Truck out of my mind so it would not drive me nuts knowing it was partially finished. I just never had the proper room to take front clip off. Its been 4 or 5 yrs now since I really worked on it.
For some reason had the bug to do a EcoBoosted '66 so started on that one.
The A.D.D. really kicking in here.
Moving 3 Times in 9 months really messed things up too. Started packing my bags in Colbert, WA in Feb of 2011, put everything I had in storage and moved into a apartment for first time since 1986. No access to my vehicles or tools. July of 2011 Moved into a rental house where I had some access.
Fast forward to November 2011 Where we moved into the current place.
The small "Pink" garage was all I had but finally had place of my own again.
SLowly I have been trying to get shop to point of being able to work on larger projects. Of course even tho space was tight I added the eco project.
But then Mid year 2012 the VF showed up and really kicked my butt. It continues to do so. I am up and around and its very slowly improving, because of some very strong antibiotics they killed my immune system where I am now allergic to any and all medications and some of my favorite foods, I have had reactions to different types of soaps, laundry detergents and more.
I have to be very careful what I eat etc
(just trying to give some basic info so others can understand whats up here)
So not just my legs having an issue but also my hands which were very swollen and full of tiny fluid filled bubbles, they have not healed since the allergic reaction to antibiotics. I have to use natural methods to try to heal.
I no longer **** out the toxins like most people do, other methods have to be used to do that.
I do also want to sincerely apologize to those here I got pissy with or to those I offended in any way. My health should not be a reason to treat others poorly.
Enough of that and back to what I started to post.

The new house~shop is absolutely wonderful in location, security and how it is laid out.
I did have a dream shop planned for property but other things got in the way. A very big issue is $ and being able to do much.
November last year I started a small addition to shop just to tie me over until I could build that large "dream shop". Once I realized that dream shop was never going to happen I decided to just make do with what I had in the 42x22 Addition.
Long term plan is to make it look like a old 60's gas station.
Because of what all has happened I consider this part of the Eco & 427 Truck builds. Huge struggle for sure.

Looks good boss.
Slow and steady wins the race.
My father has the problem of over doing every good day that he has, and basically ruins the next 3 just so he can get a big project done. While you and my father have different issues health wise, I understand what you're going through. My 58 year old father had to give up welding and working on cars because of a broken neck and back about 8 years ago.
My advice is slow and steady. You'll get more accomplished in a week if you do a little every day, vs a lot in one day and nothing the next 3.

It will have a Ford~Mercury___ Gas Station Theme
It will take a bit of time to find a Gas Pump and Air Pump for display outside.
Started to collect other stuff for the 60's to 70's Theme, maybe some stuff earlier. Nothing later than around 1971.
Thinking of Texaco or possible Sinclair as my dad owned a SInclair station at one time.
A bit of Mercury, Ford, Autolite etc

66 extended cab?
The frame on this truck is absolute TOAST! It was hit in rear by a SEMI that was going about 75-80mph. The box pretty much exploded from the impact.
The frame looked like a pretzel. Somehow the fuel tank survived!
Today was one of those days I did not even have a minute to look at the 11'.
The easy way would be to just drop the ecoboost into the 66 Chassis.
I really want to utilize the 2011 technology as much as I can.
The shortest frame (wheelbase) avail on a ecoboost powered truck is
145" which is approx 20" more than the long bed F100/250.
The 2011 frame is HUGE hydroformed with much added weight but soooo much more rigid. A neat thing about the 2011 is the cab mounting bolts go from the bottom! So I will not have to pull the carpet etc to remove the cab.
I do have a cab cart ready for when I can get the cab off.
A lot to think about for sure.
I did not want to take a bunch of measurements just to learn there was so much difference that it would make me change my mind. I simply bought the 2011 when It became avail, now to just shoot from the hip when issue's arise.
I got bored of bolting 352's and 427's into these trucks and wanted something a bit more challenging.
Right now its excitement and oh, what did I do at the same time. A engineer I am not. I have to get the parts in a pile and just see where they fit just like a puzzle.
It would be nice to have some help from a engineer view point but its a budget build. If this does not work out I need to be able to recoup a big portion of what has been spent. This next week I should have a clearer path on what I am doing.
