My GM's have the pressure in each wheel displayed in the DIC. Just today the tpms warning light went off on my truck. I pulled over and had to check each tire as I had no idea which one it was causing the warning. It's not a big deal, but once you have something, it is hard to give up. If you have never had it, you probably don't miss it. Like power telescoping mirrors...I never knew that I needed them until I got my '11! Good luck getting me to give them up!

Yes, just wishful thinking I suppose
We like to think here that everybody that buys these trucks is as smart as us, but that is not the case I'm afraid. A little bit of information to an idiot is a very dangerous thing.....

Tpms..is a waste of info, IMO.

I rather have someThing more detrimental.

C'mon..check the air, rotate the tires, get a flat....lived without it or years!!

A lot of other options can be used for the ONE extra screen.

If a $10,000 kia can do this, I know a super duty programmer can add this to our trucks that are a bit above $10,000.
Reasonable; yes, no?
I agree, it would be nice. My Corvette displays the individual pressures and is accurate to 1psi. This is all good, but consider that you don't rotate tires on Corvettes so the orientation remains the same. If you did rotate then you would have to re-learn all 4 sensors. This requires setting the program and letting air out of each tire until it registers. This would be time comsuming and you can bet the tire dealer is not going to do it.

My wife has an 08 Honda Odyssey and it displays individual pressure for all 4 tires. Also when you rotate the tires, it just knows. No re-learning procedure. Since that was the first TPMS I had, I just thought they were all like that. Guess not. Doesn't really matter with my F350 though because TPMS is not even an option with duallies. I think I'll be picking up my own after-market system that covers the truck and trailer.

While I'm not a major fan of the TMPS either, it has advantages that I didn't think of when I first purchased this truck and TPMS gave me plenty of nightmares.

First, it does alert you to an issue while you're driving even though I check my own tire pressure in advanced but usually only prior to towing.

Second, for 75% of the people on the road, they need TPMS to remind them their vehicle actually has tires that require maintenance.
TPMS is good for them.

I'm okay with the system now BUT Ford needs to add some improvements to make it operate a bit better because it's not going anywhere.
