Front steering issues on 2009 f250 4x4

I have steering issue with a 2009 stock f250 6.4L

The steering is very loose, and shudders and shakes when hitting bumps. THe truck will wander when the road is slighly uneven. When turning on a circular off-ramp, if I hit a crack in the road the steering wheel starts shaking left to right. And a knocking is felt.

Ford has adjusted the alignment twice, and replaced the track bar twice. They said the track bar balljoint was bad both times.

The fix never lasts past 5K miles, and never fixes the issue completly.

What should I look for as possible causes?

The truck is lightly used, only pulls a 26' 8K trailer occassionaly.

Do you have stock front tires and stock suspension?

Vehicle is totally stock. Tires have 10K on them.

the vehicle has 40K miles on it, the problems have been occuring since about 25K.

If the steering is 'very loose' - you should be able to see some movement of the axle (or various parts) if you have someone turn the wheel back and forth, while stopped, with you looking underneath. I would also find a qualified alignment shop and get a second opinion. Usually, top shelf alignment guys do not work at dealerships. Do not go to a 'Brakes Plus' kind of place - you want to find an independent shop or a frame shop.
