Ok guys, I am in need of some information with this swap. We used the original towers from my 74 f250 camper special and I purchased the transdapt motor mounts and the engine set in there great and we got the C6 trans bolted up without many issues. Then we ran into a problem....we do not have enough room in the front of the engine for all of the pulleys, brackets, and fan. We bought a 3 core radiator and between that and the way the 460 is setting we do not have enough clearance for everything else in the front. Any suggestions?

We are thinking about swapping out the towers from the donor truck which was a 77 f350 with a 460. The engine we are swapping is not the engine that came out of the 77 though. Looking at the towers and mounts from the 77 it looks like they may set the engine back a little bit more giving us more room to work with....it will just be a pain to swap them out at this point. Any advice on how to make the set up work without swapping the towers and mounts?
