That's terrible news!

My personal best was driving Columbus to OU in Athens, Oh which is about 85 miles in 55 min. Door to door in under an hour. Those cars were so much fun. A lot like a stroke as well, you could punish em all day and they'd ask for more. It had 140k HARD miles on it when I sold it. I still dream about listening to those flowmasters barking on a hard downshift...

 

I had a 91 5.0 that had MSD, 50 pound injectors, flow master, headers, under drive pulleys, tuned, and swapped the 5 speed for a 4 speed. Man that was a fun car till my buddy wrecked it in the ditch. I think I paid more in ticket then in gas wuth that car

 

I can't wait to get my 65 fastback done, I have to take it off the back burner. 351W stroked to 396, 9" posi, four wheel disk brakes, etc.

 

Glenn I missed something in this thread, at the end did you used gaskets for the manifold? sorry if this is a "stupid" question.

 

Yes Jose, I used a gasket that I ordered from partsguyed. She's holding so far!
