10" body lift. For safety I would use capped steel pipe cut to length!

10" body lift lol, how about no lift and a sawzall instead........

1st I would go to 73 ford guys truck build thread and do LOTS of reading....

Go to pretty much any lift company web site and look at there lift/tire size chart and follow their suggestions.

Or a 6" lift kit system (system is 4 new leafs spring packs) (lift kit) is 2 new front leafs and rear blocks and a 2' body or a 8" lift sys should work.

Don't forget to swap out the old style p/s to a 79/79 box and then do cross over system. And either a BB to power it or at least regear your axles.

The desire or need to run those tires sometimes does not outway the work and $$ to install a proper, safe, well installed lift kit.

Oh ya you will need longer frame to axle soft brake lines (go steel braided), emer cable, shocks and drive shafts, and don't forget to ck your local state lift laws.

Some have a front or rear bumper, head light, lowest point ect...height min/max??

If you are mall crawling it, just throw some banana leafs under it, yank the brake lines tight and rock it.

The best choices are not always the smart choices.............
