Thanks guys. I'm just gettin' warmed up. Once I get the frame rolling again, I can trim up the floor section and start thinking about mounting the cab.

He's a friend of mine so it's not what I would charge a customer, but I'm sure not doing it for free.

RC, all it would take is a trip down to your place before I owed you more than I would make on any job you had for me to do. (Kinda why I hesitate going down there) lol. I know I need to get down there though. I promise that day is getting closer.

Ok, the day went as planned. We got our errands run and I got the '66 around front and only screwed up traffic for a couple minutes. I also cleaned out the bed to get it ready to pull off tomorrow.

Hey Bob, any chance I could get Ka'Bluey's old tail gate when you're done with it? This one is rough.

Thanks Rich, take your time. Whenever you wake up on Tuesday or Wednesday would be fine.

RC, this chassis is complicated. The bed is coming off and being set aside. Then all I'm using from the rear suspension is the side frame rails. I'm using the Bronco crossmembers and rear suspension. This way I can mount the Bronco gas tank under the bed and use the rear axle's 3" springs and not have to change the spring perches on the rear.

The Bronco frame has a real bad 4" kick up in the frame behind the front seats. If I were just to stretch the frame, the body would sit flush in the back, but be 4" off the frame in the front. When I'm done, I want this truck to look like it was made this way. I'm taking extra time to make sure everything looks like it should on the chassis.

Alan if you want that tail gate, it's yours. I know there is some filler in it. But it does feel solid.

Unk Bob
