I need to replace my rear shocks and I have a 6 inch lift on my '08 f150 4x4. I've been wanting to get the fox racing rear shocks with a reservoir. Fox racing said they need the length of the rear shock extended and compressed for my 6 inch lift. Does anyone know these numbers or know an easy way to measure these without having to remove my rear shocks? Or can anyone recommend some nice rear shocks that would fit my lift and truck? Thanks much appreciation

 

Fox makes a nice product, but Bilstein and Fabtech make 6" lift compatible shocks and you won't need to measure. Both have reservoir shocks as well. Might be worth a look, at about 1/2 - 2/3 the cost too.

It will cost you 3 arms and 5 legs to buy Fox shocks. I'd go with bilstein or Fabtech.
