murdered out = everything black.. anything that is not black on the truck, paint or replace with black part.. And everything means, everything.. there should be no chrome, tint the headlights and taillights, even ditch the chrome tailpipe tip..

One of those weird things drove by me this morning... F150 screw, couldn't hardly see the red through the lenses when he hit his brakes, and his formerly chrome bumper was peeling like a Home Depot toolbox. Had 22+" 3 spoke wheels, which were probably black but the shining rotor and airspace behind them ruined the goal he was going for. To over the top.

It takes all kinds....

There are a few of them running around here as well. If you ask me, it's a pretty dumb idea to black out important items like headlights, tail lights and windows. I can see tinting the windows just to keep the UV out but keep it within legal limits.

About 6 months ago one of our LCF 4.5 liter Power Strokes rear ended a BMW that had blacked out tail lights. Initially our driver was cited but we fought it in court, won the case and the BMW's insurance company had to pay to repair our truck, replace damaged materials AND lost revenue while it was in the shop. The judge awarded us a little bit over $60k in lost revenue....

No offense but maybe you guys should get your eyes checked. I've driven behind quite a few cars with tinted tail lights and have no problem at all seeing their brake lights.

Agreed, sounds like a Mennonite truck where I'm from anyway, I did see a cool Suburban once about 15 -20 years ago "murdered out" all black and didn't have any door handles, even though it was a bowtie, it was admirable, but I think it was just called a "cool suburban" I'm outdated, probably cause I don't have my MTV

Personally I love the guys who murder their vehicles. More than once I bough OEM alloy wheels for the price of rubber on them.
There is right and wrong way to do anything. From what I heard there are special businesses who tint the lights.
Cheap way is to buy $1.99 black paint and spray it.

Come on old timers. Go ahead and make fun of all the new stuff younger guys are doing because you dont understand. Kinda like "poodle skirts" and "johnny be good". Like it or not the younger guys may lack the work ethic of SOME of you, we still know what looks good.haha If you don't get it, you don't get it. No sweat. I think if done right the all black trucks look great. Just because the name of it stinks, don't go and show your ignorance. I really am an old man at heart haha.

I try to stay young and I learned even to like techno music
Some things look good blacked out the right way, but haven't seen Superduty who would fit.

Hell Rob's truck looks sweat to me. I can dig the picture of that Mercedes? on your post too though. I mean idealy a murdered out vehicle should have a matte or flat finish, not glossy IMO.

I think I have seen several of vehicles you are talking about. With gray, flat primer all over?

Shouldn't a 'murdered out' vehicle be an inner city theft with no rims and stripped out interior?

I've been behind some that were tinted so dark they were difficult to see. At night the tail lights barely look like they are on and brake lights not even as bright as the tail lights should be. During the day the brake lights barely even show up.

Sone of them do look good, but it's very unsafe to have them tinted that dark.
