An ATS 093 can fit the bill for most IDI owners needs.

Going to have to agree, slant bed with slant front, or put a brick front on it, to go with the bed.

One thing about turbos and what not, i think a hx35 might fit a banks kit. I cant verify this, but its close. Making upgrading the turbo a walk in the park it it works. The compressor housing in the 35 is huge compared to the "stock" turbos.

They do but hing and latch hardware are different and you would have a slightly different look than the corners of the bed

How does the 093 compare to the TE06H (Banks unit)? Read an OBN thread where someone posted that the Banks > ATS 093... can't find much ~actual comparison data on the two....

Sadly yes.. but in a round about sorta way i think the sidewinder is a better setup, but cant find em like you can the ATS stuff. But for stock stuff, either is fine, and probably little to no difference. The only time you will see any difference if there is one, is when maxing out what the turbos are capable of, ie bigger sticks, IP, studs, etc.

Ford F834 your in the wrong thread looking for normal turbo info.this ones more for boosting the idi's beyond anything aftermarket kits had in mind.

i can tell ya the banks isn't "junk" lol.
it may not be the power booster you boys are after here, building a racing idi engine, but it's a long, long, long way from junk.

check this one out for stock engine performance add ons ford:

Id agree with that, for what it is and it's intended purpose it's a great upgrade compared to stock. But it just won't allow you to push it into high power levels...which like f250 said, is the main goal of this thread

Weekend didn't go as planned...but I'm getting the engine ready for NMB2 to build the turbo kit so hes getting all those parts ordered up and I'll take engine to him. It's a 7.3l idi factory turbo motor, here is how it looks:

Nice. Are you doing the engine build before Justin gets it? If not, what are you doing to it?
