Afternoon guys. Sorry I've been busy with work, a screwed up ankle and too much other crap to list...anyways, just wanted to chime in...as I have time, will update you guys on my junk.
My Main vehicle is my 1972 Gran Torino Sport...but that's a whole separate level of pain and suffering.
Main ride is my '79 F150 4x4, 400 V8, which has been in the family for well over 22 years. I took it because I love simple, solid axle 4x4's. And my explorer was dying after 292000 miles.
Most recent deal has been I picked up a 93 XLT 4x4 with a rod knock, then a week later bought a 95 lot 4x4 with a front end collision damage.
Sold the 93 after taking needed parts, and getting ready to actually work on the 95 this weekend now that my ankle healed up.
And...to give you a feeling for my nature...
ACT NOW! DISCOUNTING NEW GM'S CHEAP!!!
Truth...I sware
And lastly...because it's the truth...
Exit, FNG, stage left with a sawzall...

OK, so got a reprieve from housework for a few hours tonight.
The rides:
{yes, went in the ditch but backed out. Long story}
RIP:
Daily Driver:
It's more rusty since this shot...but love this truck.
New daily driver:
Wife's DD:
Older daily driver. Exercise in stupidity and complete fun. Fix the AC, then chopped the roof. Made it a removable hard top.
And RIP, miss my exploder

LOL, actually...I was headed here:
Place called Watts Auto Salvage & Repair, Wymore, NE.
It rained hard the night before.
Sun was out. I had run down to Beatrice, NE to meet up with a buddy from Kansas for a bunch of Torino parts that were headed out east to a car show for Torinos and went to go to that junk year. I figured...road looked dry. Started out ok. I got about as far as the picture shows...and slide sideways into the *(@#^*&#%$*&( ditch.
Took me 1 hour...but I man handled the torino out, and backed the car up the road...nearly going off the road in a few places.
Lesson Learned: Take the '79 with the Dayton Mud tires. With the 4x4. and say F IT!! if you go into a muddy road and ditch.
