I've always liked the 67-72 GM trucks, definately the last "Real Truck" they ever built. The 73-87s were okay except for the exploding outside-of-the frame-fuel tanks, weak frames, and steering boxes that fall off when you add a lift and bigger tires. The 88 to current GM trucks absolutely suck, probably the only good things they had going were the TBI motors, LS series Vortecs, Dmax, Allison trans, AAM 11.5 and 14 bolt rear axles. For some reason people around me love em, I don't understand.
