Ram toolbox

I stopped by a Ram dealer and looked around - 20+ trucks. They even had the built-in tool boxes unlocked. Big enough to be usefull but I could see things getting cramped quickly for a worker. And, boy does it narrow the bed. You wouldn't even be able to reach anything in the bed over the box. And, no 4x8 sheets. Great idea but impractical for most, IMO. It's a perfect rectangle, so no wheel wells, it goes in that far. A few beds were rhino lined already.

I looked at those as well. I have always been a dodge guy because of the cummins engine but you'll be glad to know that I just purchased my first Ford truck last week. I went with a 150 because I don't need a diesel anymore. Anyway that rambox is nice but it reminded me of the stepside beds. I think that contractors would opt more for an 8' bed with a toolbox.
