Exhaust leak from turbo

I have an 08 job 1 truck that leaks exhaust smoke under the cover that is over the turbo. The problem only occurrs during the regen process, typically towards the end of the cycle. When at a stop light it comes out the hood, the fender side grill and enters the cabin when the heat or ac is on. Two dealers have tried to solve the problem but can never make it occur.
Any insight would be greatly appreciated?

they have to do a manual regen and then they will see it.
see the tsb
Exhaust leak in engine compartment:
Some trucks may have an exhaust odor inside or exhaust smoke may be visible around the front. This could be caused by a leak at the turbo outlet from a misaligned downpipe. Verification requires disconnecting the turbo oil supply tubes (replace the banjo sealing washers, W302474) and removing the turbo heat shield to inspect. If the leak is at the turbo outlet, the downpipe will need to be repositioned to seal correctly, with a new downpipe to turbo gasket (7C3Z-6L612-B) and v-band clamp (7C3Z-5A231-AC), and new nuts for the downpipe to catalytic converter flange (W711407-S900). If properly installed, the downpipe will be 11/16" +/- 1/8" from the frame rail. TSB 07-7-7

I had this happen to my truck recently. I didn't have any coming back into my cab, my regen just took forever, my mpg's were even worse, and it sounded different. They will have to drop the tranny out to fix it.

Mine was a leaky gasket between the turbos and pipes caused by incorrect installation after they had been removed. They found it while in a manual regen and finally seeing the black streaks from the fumes.

Got to bring mine in for the same reason. Every regen, I get exhaust smell or raw diesel smell inside of cab.
