Be aware, some scrap yards are picky about taking fuel tanks. If it is a good tank someone will want it. Put it up in classifieds. The 'in cab' tanks usually held up pretty well unless they had been left set with water in the gas or stored for a long time.

Well, there's a guy that comes by the shop that hauls off scrap....so it would be his problem if I decide to let him take it.
Looking at it from the outside it appears to be in very good shape. Didn't sound or feel like it had anything in it in quite a while. Appeared to have been empty for a long time.
I may throw it up on the classifieds and see if anyone needs one.
