These are the numbers off the 1987 F350 transfer case. I will get a few of the 1990 F250. I assume they will be slightly different based on transmissions but we'll see.
The F350 axle is waaay shorter. I don't think I will be able to use it. We'll see. The transfer case is the same it seems, so the 6 and the ZF seem to have a much longer footprint than the 460 and whatever automatic that truck had.

The zf5 front drive shaft should be SHORTER than an auto trans driveshaft.
The yolk is designed to work with the double joint at the t-case. COunt spines and shaft diameter. It should work since they are both 1356 t-cases. in 96/97 they went to a 4407 t-case
Are you sure? That transmission on the dually was really short. I don't know what it was though. I have to cut those bolts off probably. The star heads are rusted down to nubs. I've never seen a truck so rusty... even some of the aluminum on the tranfer case is corroded.
