I'm new to the diesel world. Trading up from my f150 5.4 to a 2011 f350.
Buying a bigger fifth wheel so need a bigger truck. I have the opportunity to buy a new 2011 F350 diesel left over model for a very good price. The truck has the options I want. The only concern I have is it was built in Feb 2010. any more major issues with this truck vs a more current build.

Make sure it has all the updates....Mine was built in April 2010, bought May first , and have had zero issues....Advice, run good fuel and PM 22 fuel additives, the HPFP pumps are marginal design and Ford will not warranty.

 

Thats a long time for water to condence in that tank. I think they have done a lot of updates and changes since then but you do get limited seatsI wouldnt do it but some folks think im strange.
