I did work on my 460 and I plugged the holes and can't remember where this fitting goes. I am holding the vacumm fitting in my hand and i believe it goes in the hole right next to it. I am unsure though because this hole is wet and smells like antifreeze. Would I be able to just put a plug in this hole and run 1 single vacumm line from the distributor to the carburetor?

 

 

That's where it goes. It's a ported vacuum switch.

 

If you can't thread it there due to interference with the dist cap, then just remove the plug on thermo housing and put it there, either place is the same.
