Thanks, I could not find anything specific to the 6.7 on their web site. I would be interested to know what it can and can't do on the 6.7 and how it does it.

Most of the time the claims that tuners like this make are based on flywheel HP and not rear wheel HP. The numbers look more impressive that way!

Ok, I spoke to Superchips and confirmed that the max gain is 157hp while the peak gain is about 80hp (both RW).

Superchips does not do any tuning that accommodates the removal of the emission control devices.
As for the red hot DPF, it will get as hot as it gets. The question is how often is it going to regen which will completely depend on driving conditions and payload.

RED HOT DPF is correct

Don't buy this Flashpaq 1858 tuner, as I made that mistake. My 6.7L is sitting at the dealer after 8 days, and somehow the tuner left behind ghost data that Ford Detroit Engineers knew it was Superchips. I now have a voided warranty, and paying $5000 out of pocket for a new catlytic converter and new DPF. They said the PCM had corrupted data, that the DPF was allowed to get extremely hot and incinerated the internal parts of the DPF. I had to be towed.

Obviously it goes without saying that once you make the choice to modify your vehicle then you can toss your warranty out the window. Can't really fault Ford for denying coverage...

However, the SuperChips notice above does say they back their product with a 1 year warranty. Perhaps you can contact them and see if they will cover your repair.
