The Unintended Consequences of Trailer Mirrors.
#31
You might cut a notch in the garage wall where the mirror usually hits it and cover hole with nylon whiskers... tricky to get the garage door to jump the gap... hmm.
On a more practical note... you could apply some sticky stuff to the surfaces the birds sit on. As long as it stays sticky they won't loiter. perhaps some kind of 2 sided tape that you replace as the old stuff gets dirty/unsticky?
Good luck hehe

You could put some duct or masking tape on the top of your mirror and put the stuff on the tape. It is very, very sticky.

Not so much the mirrors as it is an angry bird
So it's not so much the mirrors after all. It's an angry robin that chest-bumps his reflection all morning long... whilst crapping what seems to be 2x his body weight every day down my doors and mirrors.
I tried a window paint marker so he'd see what essentially looks like synthetic bird scat on the windows instead of his reflection. No dice. Angry bird wins again.
