Dead Excusrion - Broken starter solenoid connection (with pics)

Hi guys,

I really need some help with this one. I think this is my starter solenoid with broken wiring connection. This is on the drivers side inner fender well. How do I fix this? New wiring & solenoid??

I would definitely replace it with new wiring and a new solenoid for good measure.

It's not as hard as you may think it is, you just need to follow the path of the old wiring and you'll be ok. O'reilly auto sells the actual motorcraft parts you'll need.

all that is under the cover is a junction stud, take the cover off and clean with a wire brush and replace the terminal on the corroded wire (or replace the wire) and reconnect and coat with dilectric grease. The starter solenoid is a part of the starter and not remote mounted.
